Because Gregori is a very old,and very powerful vampire he can venture outside at early dawn and dusk, but he has to keep to the shadows and wear dark glasses. Just playing a bit with Gregori, actually clothed, LOL! Yes, I know.........it's a shame, but he does wear clothes occasionally. Had a really hard time getting good pictures with him wearing dark clothing...........I can't manually adjust the white balance on my camera. It just has a few "programmed" settings (at least as far as I can tell). I was having a really hard time getting a picture I was happy with. I think I want to save for a decent DSLR camera next year.

Something a little different for today........Most times I reserve this journal for my BJD's, but as many of you know I collected Tonner long before I started down the BJD road. I still have my Tonners, although I haven't been actively buying as many lately. I keep up with the Gone with the WInd and Twilight lines, because I love those books/movies so much, but I've pretty much stopped buying any others.........that's why......I can't BELIEVE I caved on Ellowyne..........finally.........I"d been doing so good at resisting. Actually I had most of the early ones at one point or another, and sold them (kept the clothes, I LOVE her clothes) because I decided I could do without her. Sigh...........The new wigged Ellowyne got me VERY tempted again and since she's not available to ship until December (and I wanted instant Ellowyne gratification, LOL!) I ordered Tatters while I was ordering another outfit. I've always loved Tatters outfit, and she was on sale. Figured I"d sell her when the wigged girl became available and keep the outfit..................don't think that's happening. She's AWFULLY cute and I've always been drawn to her anyway. Sigh......I think I"m in trouble, LOL! Now I wish I would have kept "Now, WHat?" and the first FAO exclusive that I had........Red to Lift Her Mood........So thought I would share a few pics of her here. I can't believe how much fun I've had playing with her since she arrived. Sometimes it's fun to just have something different, ya know?

Just because I'm bored at work, going through my PT albums and found this shot of Gregori I didn't post here yet.............Can I just say how much I hate daylight savings time too? It's too dark for me to take photos with natural light by the time I get home from work, and I really don't like how my pics come out with the indoor lights. I guess I need to work with them more, or invest in a better set up. I don't have a spot to leave them set up all the time and I hate to drag everything out (and have to put it all away again when I'm done, LOL!) Anyway, I'm going to get some pics of him with his grey eyes in this weekend though. Just one pic today.........

Still playing with wigs among the dolls. Tried this one on Em and really liked it. It makes her a bit more "grown up" I think.........gives her a little more air of sophistication. Her outfit is by Val Zeitler.......

Just got the email from Dollfair that the new Narae/Narin info is up on their site. They do have pics of the new larger Narae breast plate with the big boobs................I think I might actually prefer the small chest. Link to pics:

They don't have the new dreamer Narae60 head up yet, but they have the new Narin head posted. I'm not a fan of the new Narin head. Still love the Charisma head though. THere is also a note that states matte resin only will be offered at this time. It says French resin will return next time. SO, I guess that means if I want matte resin I better order now................Ughhhh.................................
I havne't sold the doll I wanted to sell in order to get a new doll..........what to do, what to do............I also have to decide which face to get if I order one. I love the mature Narae face, but then I love the 2/3 face (like Delana's) too. I'd love a sleep face plate too, but I certainly can't order 2, LOL! Anyone else gonna order one?

Just because I was playing with wigs on him again yesterday. I like this one, but don't love it. I also wanted to get some new pics of his body blushing. I've had him up FS on DOA with no takers so far, so took some new pics and tried some new wigs on him to try and connect. He's a gorgeous doll. Cristy did a beautiful job on his face up........I really like the Soom Super Gem bodies, but for some reason I just don't feel a connection. I HATE when that happens.

Was watching reruns of American's top model recently where the girls had to pose for romance novel covers with Fabio, and I got inspired...................Delana and Khalid...........he's definetely romance model cover material, and hotter than Fabio, IMHO, don't ya think?

Acck...........I am in so much trouble. My favorite female sculpts have always been my Narae's but I've kind of shied away from getting another because of the french resin issues. I just read that the matte resin is coming back (I'm assuming that means the urethene) and that they are going to be offering a larger bust option along with different hands and I couldn't tell if they meant different face plate options or not. If they offer the urethene version I"m definetely getting one in the white resin this go around. Guess my model boy from Iple will have to wait a bit longer............now big bust or regular size? The boys really do need more girls around here anyway, LOL! The bodies are sculpted so beautifully on the Narindolls. I really love the smaller bust, but am anxious to see what "big" bust means for them. Anxious to see if they offer new face plates as well. Can you tell I'm excited? As I was playing with Delana today I was thinking how much I truly love the Narindoll sculpts. Yup...........I'm in big trouble.........

Took some new portrait shots of Delana to show off her new wig. Ordered this wig on a whim when I was placing an order with Audrey's recently. It's pictured on a baby doll, but I envisioned it on Delana and hoped when I got it home it would work as envisoned, LOL! Luckily, I think it does! The "bob" is a favorite hairstyle of mine anyway. (My hair has been cut in a stacked bob for quite a while now )Most times when I find a color I like on one of my dolls I tend to stick with that color, but I do like to have lots of wig choices within that color. I'm really pleased with this one................it's Monique "Beri Cute". I think I may have to pick it up in blonde for Miranda as well.

He's HERE.............and he's FABULOUS! I've had this guy in my mind's eye for quite a while. Many,many thanks to SDink for bringing him to resin life for me. I wanted a vamp Luo, something totally different than my other 2 Luo's. I named him Gregori after one of my favorite Carpathian vamps in Christine Feehan's "Dark" series of books. That series of books was probably the first vampire series that I ever read and there is just something about Gregori from that series that I've always loved..............so, this guy is loosely based on him. I couldn't wait to get him in front of the camera when I got home. Meeting my new dolls through the camera lense is my favorite way of getting to know them. He will have Wolf Gray Gumdrop eyes as his default, but tonight he has his "Hungry Eyes" in........

Just one shot today............I took Nico out to try and get some new pics as I'm contemplating selling him. Only got the one pic that I liked. HATE when that happens. As gorgeous as he is, I have just had a hard time finding "the look" for him that "clicks" for me. Love his eyes, love his face up............it's the wig that has been a huge struggle. I also just can't get a vibe on his personality. What makes him different from the others, ya know? What defines him.............I"m thinking it might be best for him to move on to try and help fund the EID model I want so bad. (I read on DOA that Iple is supposed to release the regular line model guy the end of November and Evan's head will be available on that body. I've been wanting to add Evan and I think he will be perfect on that body.) I really wish the market would pick up though. It seems a struggle to sell anything these days.........

Dollheart's Akiva outfit arrived last week for Ehlena. SHe also got a new wig. I still like her better with darker, longer locks, but thought this wig was kind of cute with her outfit.

Just playing a bit with sepia and black and white photos, and light play..............and NWS/NKS warning. It really is a shame to cover a body like his up, LOL! I got a new wig for him too. I wanted to do some "twin" like pics of Kamal with Khalid and I wanted them to have more similar hairstyles. I really like this wig on him. Course, as long as it's dark, I like him in just about any wig style I've tried on him.

I got these fabulous lounging PJ's from Brian Earl(Charon on DOA) with my vamp Luo in mind, but he's not here to model yet so Tariq volunteered for the job. I thought since it was Halloween and Tariq is still wearing his orange locks it might be an appropriate combo for the day. Brian's clothing is fabulous. I got another Gothy,vicotorian type outfit and a black suit from him for my big guys as well..........it won't be my last order from him. Very well made clothing at very affordable pricing. Signed on this morning to news that Chase the Magician is up FS at Iplehouse. I have to say, I LOVE the outfit!! And I like the regular face more than I thought I would, after seeing all the pics, and I love the idea of the cream white resin, (which is supposed to be closer to the white resin Soom uses than Iples normal white with the pink untertones). Not too keen on that werewolf face though.....................is there anything that could be done to it with a different face up to make it not look so, I don't know.......campy, cartoonish? From the reaction to the werewolf face on DOA I imagine there will be lots of people trying to unload them. Anyway, I'm really torn about putting one on lay a way............ Thought I would get my little ones out for some playtime today. Sam and Sasha are angels most of the time, but it's fun occasionally to let them be regular kids. Most of my tiny clothes are a bit big on them though. Darn LittleFees are smaller than the Petite Ai's were. Oh well, I thought they looked cute in their oversize sweaters anyway.
